Artivism at Armley Mills

Commission by I Love West Leeds Art Festival. During February and March 2010, a mixture of young and old worked in collaboration with Shari Baker and Kevin Hickson, two Leeds-based artists, to create a new art installation. Based at Armley Mills Industrial Museum, the group used art materials to explore the theme of recycling, delving into the human element of memories, stories and reminisces.

Called ‘Mingling Memories’, this film captures the group’s stories of working together and their experiences. The completed project is on display at Armley Mills from early May 2010.
